The latest computer rankings for Women's Division I have been posted in the usual place, http://vortex.bd.psu.edu/~rutter/WomensHockey/0405WomensD1Rankings.html. I have removed Sacred Heart from the rankings, so the RPI should be close to what will seen on USCHO.com later this season, minus the corrections. Here is the week's top 10.
1 Minnesota
2 Dartmouth
3 Minnesota-Duluth
4 Harvard
5 St. Lawrence
6 New Hampshire
7 Princeton
8 Wisconsin
9 Providence
10 Mercyhurst
The KRACH ratings are almost "normal", and as a soon as Dartmouth loses or ties a game, their KRACH rating will be around 8000. Dartmouth will be number 1 in KRACH untill that occurs. Interesting to note that at this point in the season, Brown is 8th in RPI in spite of the fact they can't crack the top ten in any of the other three methods. It is informative to contrast the rankings this early in the season to see how strength of schedule vs. winning percetage is weighed in each system.
