I am honored that there is a college named after me (Wayne) the name I have on my driver's license. I wonder if there is a Skeeterman University, too? Anyway, are we facing another powerhouse team like the lost calves this weekend? I can't wait to watch my favorite player, Bobbie Anderson, again. Are there any Wayne State fans in the on-line crowd? Are there any SCSU fans still left?

I really find it hilarious that you sit and make fun of MSU everytime you get a chance, but yet the team you cheer for every night has talent but can never get it done, MSU is going to be a very good team in the coming years, and I dont think you can say that about the Huskies, they havent done anything since the new coach came into the program and they really didnt do anything before he was there. Please try and find some other program to rip on, at least they are going somewhere this year and in the future, the Huskies are going straight backwards while I feel the Mavericks are very very young and going to be a good team by the end of the year, and better yet wait till next year when those 18 freshman and sophomores get some experience and than add the great group of freshman they have coming in, they will a very solid program and have been for a couple of years now, good luck cheering for the St Cloud Carps, (Carp is a bottom feeder)

I referred to the lost calves as a powerhouse, which it appears they are going to be. In yesterday's Star Tribune there was an article on the three high school stars who signed and are coming there to play together. If calling your program a powerhouse was making fun of them, well....excuuuse me!

I have been told that WSU is bigger, a tiny bit less speedy, and have a sense of humor. Totally different kind of program. If any Warrior fans are making the trip, the CIC will be hosting an after game social Saturday at Old Chicago. Contact any Sin Bin member behind the "Box" at either game for details.

Now I know why they have that saying: "Friends don't let friends go to Mankato"

Whew! It's a good thing the 'Kato fans don't know that the St. Cloud State Huskies are known nation wide as "Jan Brady State," St. Clown State, St. Cloud Junior College, or the St. Cloud State Hussies.

If they started calling us all those things, just think how sensitive the Hussies, . . .oops, the Huskies' fans would be!

And I always thought Wayne State was an all-male school . . . .

Wayne State got beat by UND a year or so ago, but then so did the Huskies!

Look forward to visiting with the Wayne St. players in the penalty box. Just as long as they don't have purple sweaters!

And, yes, I think there was a school by the name of Skeeterman University College of Hard Knocks School. AKA, SUCKS. HaHa! :) :D [For Mankato fans, these icons indicate humor (or attempt at) and are not to be taken seriously!]

Hockey content: SCSU beat Wayne St. today, 7-2. Hailey Clarkson, Kelly and Ashley Stewart (twins), and Kristy Oonincx had great games. Nice to see the puck go in the net for a change! Oonincx was on the point for the first time with the power play, and scored on two long-range shots--both tucked neatly in a corner top shelf.

Any info on Stacey Dey (North St. Paul) who is on St. Cloud Huskies? Is she injured? Haven't seen any stats. Is she still at St. Cloud? Anyone who knows please post.

Great game yesterday, even though the Huskies beat MY State University. Hopefully today will be more of the same.

Skeeterman: Bobbie Anderson's #1 fan.

Stacey Dey has played in one game so far this season. The rest, she has been a healthy scratch.

It was a nice day for a drive, there was no hockey in Minneapolis, I had my yard work done & my garage cleaned out, the admission was free and here's the kicker...I figured chances were good for that rarest of rare occurrences, a chance for a Gopher fan to see the Huskies win a game. A day late & a dollar short I guess. ;) :) From a 7-2 victory to a 3-2 loss.

Brooky--Ya gotta be quick to see the Huskies win! It was close today, but no cigar. If you were by the penalty box area, you should have stopped and said hello. Myself, Top Row and Skeeterman were fruitlessly cheering on the Huskies. Even BlindRef made a cameo appearance.

Laura,Laura,Laura........MONK,MONK MONK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Pope is hilarious. :D
Boomer, the little Blindrefs had fun at the chick game and it was much warmer and cheaper than the Football game next door. The gals seemed faster to me this year even though my favorite player Kobi is no longer around.
