If anyone knows why Taggart Desmet hasn't been playing for MTU, I'd like to know. He's not a healthy scratch, is he???

He broke his leg awhile back. Supposedly good to go for Wisconsin this coming weekend, so I hear. We need another big man up front.

Do you think Taggart was named after the character that Slim Pickens played in Blazing Saddles? I bet he was.

I don't think he is that old. I was thinking more along the lines of the detective in Beverly Hills Cop.

Spoke with Taggart last night...he broke his foot during the summer. The cast came off last monday and he had been skating all week but not practicing with the team. He should start practicing with the team and if things look good he will play at Wisconsin. From what he said it seems more likely for him to return to the lineup against UAA...but who knows.
