Hershey (Colorado) - Jeff Finger (SCSU), Frantisek Skladany (BU)
QUOTE]
Eric Perrin (UVM) signed with Hershey a few weeks back for the year too.
And Jen, I think Hershey is affiliated with Tampa Bay now. Or maybe AHL clubs can supply players to more than one NHL team. I don't know though, teams change affiliation so often these days.

Sorry.. should've specified.. I listed players by their parent teams... some of the minor league teams are listed twice (like Utah), because they have players that are affiliated with others.. I should've just left the parent teams out to simplify. :)
Thanks for the Perrin update!

Binghamton (Ottawa) - Brandon Bochenski (UND), Grant Potulny (Minn)
Neil Komadoski (Notre Dame) was also among the nine players assigned to Binghamton following the completion of Ottawa's rookie camp & tournament:
http://www.ottawasenators.com/news/press/2004/nr0915b.aro
Rumor in Binghamton is that former B-Sens captain Brian Pothier (RPI) will sign an AHL deal with Binghamton to keep sharp during the lockout.
And Bryson Busniuk (Vermont) has signed a deal with ECHL Columbia:
http://www.columbiainferno.com/news/read.asp?ID=787
But I expect to see him in Binghamton at some point again this year (he played 11 games with the B-Sens last year), especially since his uncle Mike was retained as a B-Sens assistant coach.

I'm assuming this is the Providence Bruins training camp roster. If so, you forgot Yorick Treille (UML).
Another UML alum, Ed McGrane is in camp with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins along with Joe Exter (Merrimack), Ryan Whitney (BU), Ben Eaves (BC), Rob Scuderi (BC), and a bunch of other former college players. (Those were the on,y ones I could remember at the moment).
Providence and Binghamton already posted, here's the ones I could find…. it is against company policy for me to look at the Edmonton Roadrunners site????

A few Brown alumni are missing from the list below:
Yann Danis (Hamilton)
Scott Ford (Cleveland - injured)
Brent Robinson (Philadelphia)
I haven't taken the time to check all the rosters yet, so perhaps a few more Brunonians are in AHL camps as well.

The Devils released Justin Dziama (BC). Unfortunately on-ice started on a Monday and after two weeks off for the World Cup, I couldn't make it there (although I did go out on Sunday after Carrier said there'd be practice - no Rats and I got my first ticket on the drive home :-( - sorry needed to whine about that somewhere). He didn't play in the first two pre-season games (I made the second one) and it doesn't look like he played in the third either. Too bad. I'm pretty sure he already has an ECHL contract with the same team as Peterson.
Ken Magowan (BU) is being re-assigned, presumably to an ECHL team.
--
I went to part of the Rats/Phantoms game in Philadelphia (warning - if you ever go to something at the Skatezone in Philadelphia - there's very little space for spectators (only 4-5 rows of bleachers) and netting all the way around) on Saturday night. Anyway, Clem played the first two periods - I missed the first, but it sounded like he did well in the second (the wall blocked my view of that end so I'm going by the agony of the Phantom fans). Also got to see Bobby Allen and Aaron Voros for the first time as Rats.
I'm sure there were several new college kids on the Phantoms, but I was mostly paying attention to Voce. I thought he did well - was included as one of their 5 shooters for the stupid shoot-out at the end (stopped). The fans seem to really like him - not sure if he's been getting hyped a lot as the local boy. Spotted my favorite of the Class of 2004, Hennes, in the lobby on my way out.

The Binghamton Senators have sent a few former collegians packing in the last several days:
Binghamton native Tom Clayton (Niagara)
Brian Escobedo (Bowling Green)
Rob Fried (Harvard)
Gregg Johnson (Boston University)
Jason Sessa (Lake Superior)
AHL broadcasters are probably most affected by Sessa's release, since they'll no longer have to worry about the possibility of both Jason Spezza and Jason Sessa being on the ice simultaneously.
And, as some consolation, Clayton will be reporting to ECHL San Diego.
