Status of Castleton

Castleton State College's website and some other websites have mentioned that Castleton Women's Hockey will be going to varsity status this year. This isn't reflected on the USCHO site either in ECAC D3 East or as an independent. I see St. Anselm has been listed. Has something changed at Castleton or is it just that USCHO site has not been updated to include the program?

my guess would be USCHO hasnt updated yet...They have started making adjustments for next season as you can now see the schedules for your team and the returning roster but they do not have transfers and freshmen in yet so my guess would be USCHO hasnt finished their pre-season stuff yet...I'd watch for something to pop up for them in the coming months. However, im pretty sure that they are definitely D3 as Elmira is playing them this year at home and its not listed as an exhibition...so...yeah...:)
