I won't be "content" until I'm making.....

Well here's my rationale:
IDEALLY, I would like to be making $100,000. That's more than enough for me.
However, it's always nice to have all the money in the world.
But, I'm a very simple person. I don't need much. All I want to be is happy and healthy. And to do all the things that I need to do and want to do.
Thus, the BEST option I chose "whatever that can get me by."
I thought about creating a poll on "HOW MUCH DO YOU CURRENTLY MAKE?" That might be interesting yet personal --that's why I refrained from doing it.
Nonetheless, good question!

That's the great thing about anonymity. Go for it.

I could always USE more money, but I really don't care if I have it or not.
Shelter? Check.
Friends? Check.
Family? Check.
Health? Check.
Enough money for a little fun? Check.
Job that I like? Check.
Heck, I am ahead of the game right now.

Just enough to feed me and keep me full of beer.

If I had my way, I'd make enough in a year to make Bill Gates look like he belongs in a homeless shelter.
Enough to live "comfortably" is all I'd really need. However, I ain't saying I'd turn my nose up at a hefty chunk of change if it fell into my lap.

good call and well said... I'm the same but I would like SOME more just for a rainy day in cse something bad happens.
as someone (somewhat) actively seeking employment, i've come to the conclusion that if you do what you like - which probably means you're good at it - the money will follow. obviously i'm looking for enough to get by and a little more, but i'm not nessecarily looking for a huge payday either. if i can find a job i enjoy for a change, i'll look for the money later.

Apple Computer CEO Steve Job's ANNUAL salary: $1.00. Yes, one dollar, a buck, uno dinero, etc.
Steve Job's fame and legacy: PRICELESS
Think Different.

Ever hear about the 10% rule? The theory goes that whatever you have now you will want ten percent more. People can always find more things to need.
