From the Hockey Canada website, I noticed that there will be a US/Canada Under 22 competition in Lake Placid in August.
Has anyone heard about coaching staff and player rosters for these games?

Are you sure that this is for this Aug as the USA / Canada Under 22 teams played in Aug 2003.?
I don't think they have announced the US U22 roster yet. Any guesses as to the possible prospects(veterans or non)?
Darwitz doesn't turn 21 until October, so she should be eligible. Chu turned 22 in March, so I wouldn't think that she would qualify.

I think That this was last years teams. Here is a link that I think will clear this up.

There may will be another series this years as well but there is nothing on the Hockey Canada site that would indicate this.
Cut from the coaching application for the team from the OWHA site

Thank You!
I did not check the OWHA site as they rarely have any useful info.
Maybe I better check it out a little more then a few times a year. LOL

I'm glad to hear that the series will be in Lake Placid this year. I believe it was in Montreal last year, therefore this year they are going with an american site. Does anyone know when the rosters will be announced for both teams? i went to the USA hockey site and theres no roster information yet. I would think they would be announcing it soon being the camp is just over a month away.
Any predictions for invitees? I would think there will be mostly the usual players no new kids strike me, but then again i mostly follow the older players. I'd like to see some new faces on both sides. Let me know what you guys think.
"Dartmouth kid 4 life.";)
there is definitely going to be some new faces because the U22 US loses many players due to the age standard. I assume many of the girls are coming out of the college field.

I don't usually post on the women's hockey threads, but thought this might be of interest. Margot Page, HC at Niagara, has coached with the Canadian U22 team, now will be an assistant for the Canadian Nat'l teams. Congrats to Margot, she has earned it.

I wonder what the hold up is for announcing the U22 players for the US and Canada. The players seem to know?

As I understand it, there are a few more players being contacted by Julie/Wally.
The official press release should be on the canadianhockey.ca web site next week.

Some observations from comparing last years development roster to this year’s roster Granted there may be many explanations
Nicole Corriero not on the roster. She may have declined the invitation but based on talent, IMHO she deserves to be there.
Surprised to see Jackie Friesen not back to the camp.
Danielle Ashley not back.
Jeni Creary not back as well, She had an “off” year last year in terms of points.
Nice to see Sara Bauer being asked out. From what I saw of her play she deserved the invitaiton.
Also thought Jana Harrigan from OSU may have earned an invitation as well.
