Excuse me, but (without looking back in the thread) I know I said something to the effect of "I chose 'Hero' over the other option(s) because..." There is nothing wrong with stimulating a healthy political discussion, which was my reasoning.
You apparently believe [see your comment quoted above] that raising awareness is useless. What, is it necessary to you to force beliefs down people's throats in order to be 'effective' in promoting your beliefs? That maybe letting people think about the facts and come to their conclusions isn't a good plan?
Whatever...the more I think about it, the more you contradict yourself. 'Doing no more than raising awareness is bad but terrible people raise awareness'. You want the terrible people to do more than raise awareness????
Please explain yourself sir.
You are very silly and seem to struggle with following a simple argument. I'll do the best I can to explain (again).
I have not contradicted myself at all. I stand by my statement that one is not a hero simply for raising awareness. For example the Klan raises awareness.
Therefore, we must decide if the Klan are heroes or if the bar for herodom (word?) should be set higher.
I submit that we should set the bar higher. Which, incidentally, puts it far beyond the reach of Michael Moore.
This is my view irrespetive of my view towards Moore.
I never said that raising awareness is useless - don't misquote me!
Good day.

I didn't quote, I paraphrased. Whatever. If you want to give yourself an aneurism over a stupid poll choice about a movie on hockey message board, you go right ahead. I'm done.

No aneurism. Just persuasively presenting my point of view.
You are done.

And there are many more pieces that detail the lies of this fat pig who, by the looks of your signature, is your hero.

I said this in the Michael Moore thread, and i will repeat it here. The problem with Moore is that he takes facts, and skews the interpretation of them to make his point. For example:
4 of my 5 friends hate spinach.
The one friend who likes spinach has a girlfriend.
That means the 4 who hate spinach are single.
THEREFORE, only single people hate spinach.
Until the "therefore" statement, all of what I said were facts. But, the overall point of what I said was to portray that last sentence, which is (in all reality) false. That is what Moore does. Same with Limbaugh, and other extremists on both sides of the spectrum.
Moore doesn't necessarily lie. But he takes facts and portrays them in a different context, to make it seem like something else.

Until the "therefore" statement, all of what I said were facts. Actually, we don't know that the 4 who hate spinach are, in fact, single. The only thing we know is that one of your friends likes spinach and has a girlfriend. You never stated that the 4 who hate spinach are single.
