USCHO at work

Seriously, every place I've ever worked has strict internet policies, but I've ever never been told not to go on a non-porn site. Since this board is very active during the work day, I'm wondering if anyone has ever gotten in trouble for visiting USCHO in the hours between 8AM and 6 PM...

I have posted once, becuase bosses are everywhere during the day. Now we have filters. The only site we can go to is our company's site (which contains product info, online catalog, etc).

It's no secret to my bosses that I log on to USCHO at work. They don't make an issue of it as long as I get my work done and as long as USCHO is not a porn site.

I'd say about 50% of my posts have been from work over the last 3+ years. I don't post very often though, and I usually just come here when I need a 5 minute break here and there throughout my workday.

I'm usually too busy running around at work to be at a computer, and when I'm actually at a computer, I don't have time to come on here. So I'd put me down for "0 posts/no". :)

Well, when I worked at US Bank I posted all the time. I probably have 1,500-2,000 posts from that office. My entire department was similar in nature, just not with regards to this site. My manager told us that he saw the WENUS reports, and didn't care because we were exceeding our production guidelines.

I don't have time in my new job to post. That sucks.

I work from home and my performance is based on "Did ya do what ya needed to do and on time?" I do, for the most part, and the mess-ups are not due to this board. So, yeah, I have days where I spend too much time here, but if you apply the rules of drug abuse and dependence, I'm barely an abuser :D

My old boss might have cared, but my work was done when it was supposed to be, so there was no problem.
