The only thing I agree with PETA on is that a "any publicity is good publicity" strategy works.

Based on some of those pictures people posted earlier, I agree with their taste in spokeswomen. (is that a word?)

if god didn't want us to eat animals he wouldn't have made them out of meat.

I agree with the idea of PETA, but overall I don't want to be associated with them because they're insane, and they make people think that all vegetarians are psychos like them, and we're not. So on principle I have to say "no".

I agree that animals should be treated ethically.

killing an animal to eat it = good.

killing an animal with no intentions to eat it = bad.

Yes, animals are delicious - especially with a mild BB-Q sauce! :D

this was like asking "isn't ice cream delicious?" or "aren't puppies adorable?"

No and no.

I hate puppies! They mock me! ;) Kittens are even worse. Cute little balls of pure SATAN!

The Dalai Lama was deliberately misquoted by PETA, so he called them on it. (http://www.sanmateocountytimes.com/Stories/0,1413,87~11271~2236772,00.html)

I think the idea of looking out for animal rights is a good cause, though there are bigger fish to fry(pun intended), but PETA goes over the line.

oh do I have beef with PETA. 1st. They say horses aren't meant to be ridden, and they don't want to run everywhere. You ever seen a horse in the wild? They RUN!!!!! And it doesn't hurt them to be ridden. They are designed so that they do not suffer when someone is on them. 2nd. They say that milk is bad for you. As opposed to having a lack of calcium, as well as something on your freakin cereal! 3rd, and final, the buckets of blood that they hand to children at KFC's, telling kids that chickens are treated bad at the killing plants. GOOD GOD GET A LIFE!!!!!!!!!!

The one I have a problem with is their opposition to using sled dogs. Even more than horses these dogs have been specifically bred to pull sleds. You never see a musher use a whip to motivate the dogs. Just pull up the brake and they are off, they love to run. That's what dogs do, they run in packs for hours and hours. If you ever want to meet the most dedicated dog lovers, meet a breeder/owner.
