Wendell is out for sure with a knee injury. I haven't heard Chu's name mentioined in the flow of play. I missed the first couple of minutes, but I have been listening since the 3 minute mark.

Aside from the static, the call isn't bad. It is a raw live feed so you get a lot of good banter, and a slew of takes as they do voiceovers for television.

Kind of a cheap goal. US goalie thinks she has frozen the puck.. NO whistle and the US goalie lifts up her glove and the canadian player puts the puck in the net.

2 - 0 for Canada on a realy bad goal. Dreyer covers the puck, reacts to pressure from Canadian forward entering the crease and uncovers the puck. The referee slow to blow the whistle and allows Collins to tap in the uncovered puck.

You think that is bad.. darwitz thought she scored and they went to a replay and it clearly went in. the Canadian announcers are saying it went in and they go up stairs to review it and its no goal. Who does the video replay for determining if its a goal?

2 -1 for Canada, but the referee does not count goal that was definitely in the net. So, the score stays 2 - 0, and in frustration King takes a penalty immediately after the disallowed goal. 4 minutes to go.

Dreyer was unbelievable tongiht. If not for her, this may not have been close. I guess the week helped the Canadian girls to win their 8th straight World Championship!

Congrats to Canada for winning yet another World Championship...but it should honestly be a 1-1 game right now. Bad calls by the refs in a crucial game like this is not a good thing at all. The USA didn't play incredible, but they deserved good calls. You wonder if people like Wendell and Looney would have made something happen...especially on the powerplay. But oh well! Congrats to the USA on a great tournament!

kwnd_fan17 You wonder if Wendell would make a difference. I wonder if you have been under a rock for the last month. I don't mean to trash you, but to give credit to Wendell. It would be a different game, no doubt in my mind. Canada came through, got some bounces and a world championship, keeping the wolves away from the coaches' door for another day.(not that CHA or anyone else would take the blame for a second place finish)

Hey fan for life...I'm a HUGE fan of Wendell and I was in no way taking any credit from her! You just wonder if she could have made a difference just because Canda was playing really, really well! And yes they did get some lucky bounces and calls that went their way, but they still played well. And hey...I live in Minnesota and have seen Krissy play first hand plenty of times! I know what she's capable of and it's unreal to watch her play...so don't worry! I was rooting for the USA all the way, and I'm sure if Wendell and Darwitz could have been on a line they would click just like they did yesterday on the first goal against Sweden. Bummer for Wendell and USA that she was out!

So I guess I'm sorry about saying what I said how I did! I really do like Krissy!! Promise!! ;)
