What, ManU getting favorable calls that result in goals for the mancs? Well, there's a scenario we never see (at least not more than once or twice a week!). No, the result was an own goal on O'Shea.

No, the result was an own goal on O'Shea.TBA said both ManU goals were questionable. That's what I was referring to. I'll wait to see the game or highlights myself before commenting, though the possibility of ManU getting the benefit of questionable calls hardly brings a look of shock to my face! :)

The first was on a free kick...that was a 50-50 ball where both men got tangled, and then Scholes pushed him and then he fell. Free kick led to a goal.

Then the second goal was off of a corner kick that was clearly off of Giggs. While Liverpool could have stopped both goals by playing decent Set Peices defense and marking Silvestre neither score should have happened.

TBA,

This is offtopic for this thread, but are you going to GM in ehockey anymore? It doesn't appear that you or the other GM are very active and Abra has told other users that he won't create new GM positions, so please step down if you won't be doing the GM duties so someone else can take care of things.

Bad news for ManU, as Roy Keane has been charged with assault and criminal damage as a result of a confrontation with a 16 year old boy while Keane was taking his dog for a walk! Not what an already dodgy ManU midfield needs!

What an idiot.

I wish there was more info. Something tells me that he was harassed by a City puke. I would assume that the name of Alfie Haaland was used as well.

I'm just going to say this: I've never found an Alfie Haaland virus that kicks you out of Windows. :p

Man City draws Arsenal at home in the next round of the Carling Cup. Boo hiss.

Arsenal always get drawn with EPL teams in the Cup competitions, so no surprise there. One of their downfalls last season was every FA Cup match was against an EPL club, so they didn't get the chance to rest players like some other clubs who drew weaker teams.

According to BBC Sport, Liverpool are looking at another takeover bid, this time by Mike Jefferies, the LA film executive.

Arsenal takes full points at Eastlands over City on an Ashely Cole goal in the 14th minute. You should never be happy with a loss, but an 'A' for effort for Man City, most definitely. City created countless scoring chances, and the crowd was much, MUCH more into the game than they were midweek in the Carling Cup match.

United wins 1-0 over Spurs with a Ruud penalty.

Scholes omitted today and Alan Smith took his spot. Other than that, boring match.

All right - who stole Everton and replaced them with Barcelona?

FESS UP!

Charlton wins 1-0 on a Kokouri header. I don't think I would have ever expected the goal to come from him, but I will TAKE IT!

Charlton moves to 7th in the league.

Edit: Mathis scored his first goal for Hannover 96 this week, and they just showed it on Bundesliga Week in Review on FSW. He scored the game winner in the 83rd coming on as a substitute. Considering how bad Hannover is playing I find it absurd that Mathis is subbing. Their forwards are horrible.

Okay. I'm going to be in London Feb 9-19. I'm going to take the Chelsea stadium tour. The question is: in whose boots should I urinate? :D

Actually, the question is, should I ever bother trying to get tickets to a Chelsea, Arsenal or Spurs match, or are they going to be sold out? If so, should I try to get Crystal Palace or possibly West Ham tickets instead?

EDIT:
2/12 United at City
2/12 Arsenal home against Crystal Palace
2/12 Chelsea at Everton.

Crap. No mid-week matches that week.

Tottenham is playing Charlton at the Valley. Look at that game. If you want to go, buy tickets now, because a significant amount of Tottenham fans will make the short trip to the Valley.

Okay, how hard is it to get from Victoria Station to Charlton?

Impossible.

Okay, I don't really know. I just get jealous when everyone else gets to go to London and I don't, so I like participating in the discussions like I have something useful to add. :D

Any interest in going to the game together? I think I shall be in England or France around the same time, so I am keen on going with someone else, so that if something goes wrong, I have someone who gets hit in the face by stones with me.

:)

:)Hell, if you're going to be around, sure. I'd love to have someone there, besides my wife, but she'll probably get bored.
