Bad week for Becks.... ...if vacationing in the French Alps can be considered a bad week, I suppose. That's what happens when you hang around with "Loos" women. :(

Poor girl is heartbroken. I guess he never told her he was married. Cad!

Still, I don't think it will damage the Golden One. Most fans are probably relieved to see he has all the normal human urges. But how did Madrid let it slip away? Brutal.

Dude, it's the Millwall fans you have to worry about. My cousins are british and they say that every game they've been at with Millwall, all hell has broken loose!!!!!

Depor 4 Milan 0

I think I'm gonna be sick. What a collapse. I should be used to this, I'm a Sox fan. But Milan isn't the Sox. This hurts.

Makes you wonder what kind of odds you could have gotten in Vegas on Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Inter Milan all crashing out of the tourney! I think Chelsea have a real shot at winning it given the remaining teams.

Hmmmm......

Chelsea wins one game against Arsenal (admittedly an important game) after not winning in 17 games. I wouldn't get too carried away with things. Chelsea still are longshots to win the EPL (don't forget your visit to Old Trafford still awaits) and there are three other very good teams to contend with in the CL. It's still very possible that Chelsea won't win anything and don't make me remind you how many years it's been since Chelsea won the EPL!:p

Dude...she used to be good friends with Victoria and would go shopping with her. She did know he was married.

And normal urges are fine, but if you're married, it only comes out of your pants (or onto your text phone) for one woman. Anything else and it's wrong.

That's exactly why I have to do it...who knows when it might happen again

I hate you so much. You'd cheer on a terrorist organization if Beckham endorsed them.

Bob, no comment on Millwall playing two away legs? I don't care what anybody says, I still say their fans pose nine times the threat that Haifa's possibly could.

Dude...you ever heard of sarcasm?

First of all, no one besides Becks and this woman knows what happened so don't be quick to judge. Secondly, if every young, healthy, attractive, spouse separated from their partner for a long period of time and wandered a bit was ****ed for the act there wouldn't be room in Hell.

Funny you should say that, because after the Madrid bombing some victims were buried wearing Real shirts including #23. At the same time one of the suspected terrorists was a huge Beckham fan who had all sorts of memorabelia. Don't know if there is any sort of message there, but maybe Becks can bring "Peace on Earth and Goodwill towards Men". ;)

Nothing else seems to be working.

But seriously, when you give the "World's Sexiest Man" a wild babe as a "personal assistant" while he is off working in a foreign country for months on end, what does anyone think might happen?

The only difference is when Becks does it hundreds of square miles of trees are cut to make the newsprint spent on it. When Joe Schmoe does it no one cares except his wfe and her lawyer.

Obviously, I have no first-hand experience with Millwall. But are their fans really still that violent, or are worries about them simply vestiges of a violent past? (I honestly have no idea, and am asking for any and all information on the subject.)

I've read a few books on hooliganisms (not "Among the Thugs," which by almost all accounts is heavily biased), but the books seem to sort of stop in the early-to-mid 90s, as if all violence evaporated then.

I've never witnessed any sort of mass riot during any of the matches I've seen on TV (though I suppose that there is less violence among the prawn sandwich munchers in the EPL, rather than in the diehards on the terraces in league football), so I've got nothing to go on.

See the problem is that Beckham is a role model.

PS it takes two to screw. You can't go Kobe and blame the woman because golden boy can't keep is junk in his pants.

Amen.

I've read Becks' book. He's constantly writing about how much he loves Posh and the kids. If you love someone that much, even when you're faced with temptation, if your marriage means that much to you, you stay faithful. Just because you're famous and get attention from beautiful women doesn't mean you have the right, the privilege, or anything like that to go get it wherever you can get it, separated or not.

I hadn't seen anything on this and I still don't see anything, at least on soccernet. I think Millwall is a problem whether home or away. I wouldn't be sure there wouldn't be trouble even if you banned Millwall fans from the two legs altogether. If you're a Millwall hooligan, this is your one chance at having a big stage for your club. Even if the games are in eastern Europe and no Millwall fans are allowed to travel to the games, I wouldn't be the least big surprised to see the Millwall fans riot outside their stadium in London or something. There's no comparison between Millwall and Haifa. Haifa doesn't get home European games because of the Palestinian terrorist threat, not because of fan behavior.

Well, with my sports week from hell continuing with UMD losing today, following on the heels of Arsenal crashing out of two comopetitions, I'm sure the Gunners will fall tomorrow to Liverpool. The game is on FSW, but I'm not sure I can take another loss this week.

UEFA might be able to control Millwall by itself. But, the draw from hell would be if Millwall drew Fenerbahce, also known for unruly fans. Or even worse Hearts of Midlothian as you can't do anything to prevent fans from traveling within the United Kingdom.

First of all, none of you know what happened or didn't happen. So far it is "a friend of a friend said...." idle rumour mongering which you guys seem quite happy to contribute to. Secondly it does not reflect in any way on Beck's love for his family, whether those rumours are true or untrue. If at the moment, he was spending his free time in the French Alps with some bimbo instead of his family then you have a point. As it is, there is little room to critisize his actions.

Even to compare it to that jerk Bryant's situation is way out of line. No one was complaining about rape, abusive sex, etc. From all that I heard, (if it was true), the lady in question quite enjoyed her experieince and was only upset that it wasn't continued. But it's hard to have much sympathy for her given that she should have known exactly what to expect at the end of it all. A few good memories. Apparently she or someone close to her is not content with that, so they have gone public. Maybe she wants to be famous, like Monica Lewinsky. Get on a Reality Show or something.
