Do you like the guaranteed East v. West in the finals or would you rather see the regions cross over in the semifinals?

It's not a guaranteed E/W title game every year.
Right now, the regions are bracketed so that it's 1v4 and 2v3 in the semifinals. It just happened to work out that we get a guaranteed E/W final that way. Had Wisconsin and/or Michigan won, we wouldn't be able to say that.

Why aren't the surviving four teams reseeded for the Frozen Four?
As it stands, the inflexible brackets have set up semifinals featuring (according to the original seedings) no.2 v. no.3, and no.5 v. no.7.
This seems less than ideal. Wouldn't no.2 v. no.7 and no.3 v. no.5 be better?
In contrast, both the ECAC and Hockey East tournaments reseed the four teams that make the semifinals. (Anyone know how the CCHA, CHA, AH, and WCHA handle this in their tournaments?)
