I can see why some people think Maine and BC are favorites but in a 1-game elimination, any of these team can win, especially with a hot goalie. Reichmuth and Berkhoel have proved that by helping their teams knocked off topseeded North Dakota and Minnesota.

It kind of evens out, some teams are stronger offensively while another may have stronger goaltending.

Denver ain't gettin' no respect and I don't know why. They are a 2 seed and earned their way.

That said my money's on Maine.

If BC plays Maine the way they played MI last weekend, it's going to be a hell of a game.

That said, I think BC has gotten past the Maine sweep in the HE tourney and will take the 1st game and then the championship.

I don't think anyone can stop Maine. They're too strong up front and have the game's best goalie.

I think this poll shows that tUMD fans post a lot more than any other school. And thus, are the greatest fans alive.

I am going with Maine. They have won tough games down the stretch and have a pretty hot goalie (aside from one period against Harvard)

BC is just too good. The EVE line,soon to be featured in a major advertising campaign, is just the start. Other teams would kill for BC's fifth D-man, much less their first two pairings,and Matti is the best goalie in the country. And that's not even mentioning York, the classsiest and best coach the NCAA has ever known.
It's a formality, and York's only difficulty will be keeping the score down without embarassing Maine and then whichever poor team comes out of the JV bracket.
