These scores are at the end of one period of play.
PROVIDENCE,RI
Cornell leads Nebraska-Omaha 1-0 after one period. The Mavericks took it to the Big Red early but a poor UNO penalty set up the power play and a few seconds later, a Matt Moulson power play goal.
HARTFORD,CT
Sacred Heart is pulling a 2-0 lead over RPI. The Pioneers got goals late in the period by the immortal Rocco Molinaro and Bernie Chmiel. The Engineers have not showed very much, but that could change.
GRAND RAPIDS,MI
Minnesota leads St. John's 3-0 after one. Minnesota remembering their first round scare last year against a D-III team and some of the success of the D-III teams this year get the Gophers the incentive to blow out St. John's. Jerrid Reinholz scored a power play goal for the 1-0 lead. Barry Tallackson scored on the Frozen 64's first penalty shot after a St. John's defenemen intentionally moved the net. Danny Irmen scored off a rebound from a Jake Fleming shot to make it 3-0.
DULUTH,MN
Bemidji State leads Bowling Green 2-1. The Beavers fell behnd early 1-0 off a BGSU goal by Mike Falk. Andrew Murray scored on the power play and they took the lead with a breakaway from Riley Riddell.

At the end of two periods of play
PROVIDENCE,RI
UNO tied the game at 1, 1-1 for most of the game, until Cornell scored four goals in the last five minutes of the second period. The Big Red leads 5-1. Mike Lefley tied the game for the Mavericks and it seemed that momentum swung to Omaha hower towards the end of the period Jon Gleed made it 2-1, Ben Wallace scores off a rebound to make it 3-1. Cam Abbott made it 4-1 and a few seconds later Ryan Vesce made it 5-1. Tough break for Nebraska-Omaha here.
HARTFORD,CT
Sacred Heart still leads Rennselaer 2-0, we could be having an upset here and this appears to be the only close game in these set of games.
GRAND RAPIDS,MI
Minnesota has opened up a 7-0 lead over St. John's, The Gophers want nothing to do with a close game. Barry Tallackson scored his second goal of the game though not of the penalty shot variety this time. St. John's Justin Wild was called for a five minute major and that led to three Gopher goals. Troy Riddle made it 5-0 on the power play. Jake Fleming scored on another power play goal to make it 6-0. Chris Harrington scored another power play goal to make it 7-0.
DULUTH,MN
Bemidji State has opened up a 5-1 lead over Bowling Green. The Beavers are playing in their CHA RS Championship form, it seems that they are taking out their frustrations of losing the CHA championship on the Falcons. Andrew Murray scored his second goal of the game to make it 3-1. Bryce Methven made it 4-1 for the Beavers and then Rob Sirianni put this one out of reach, BSU leads BGSU 5-1

With Five minutes to go in regulation
PROVIDENCE,RI
Cornell now lead Nebraska-Omaha 8-1, this has been garbage time for a while and this is going to get ugly. Cornell is avoiding the fights to avoid suspensions for the second round. Matt Moulson has two goals this period for the hat trick along with a Greg Hornby goal, Omaha has pretty much quit on this one.
HARTFORD,CT
RPI has scored and trails Sacred Heart 2-1. Vic Pereira scored off a clearing miscue by the Pioneer defense. The 11 seed,Sacred Heart looking for the upset.
GRAND RAPIDS,MI
The top seed Minnesota leads St. John's 11-0. This has been a complete assault. Keith Ballard, Garrett Smaagaard, Grant Potulny has added two goals on his end.
DULUTH,MN
Bemidji State leads Bowling Green 8-1. We were not expecting a blowout here, but hey there's just too much beaver here. Myles Kuharski, Jean-Guy Gervais, and Ryan Huddy have scored in this period.

I hope that we can come out with some tenacity in the first against the dirty beavers today. We need to make the sweet sixteen, we are an early scoring team so i am hoping we can pull it off.

Great in-state matchup in the second round, with Dartmouth facing UNH. Will the Big Green be hungry for revenge after losing 5-0 earlier in the season? Will UNH come out strong after squeaking past Bently?
(Hey, who did Chuck Murray cheer for in the Bently/UNH game?)
My bracket is still mostly intact. Only picked 5 wrong, and that's spread out amongst the regions.
