With five minutes left.....

ALBANY
Michigan State and Boston College are tied at 2. The Eagles tied the game on a nice wrist shot by Tony Voce. Very close and very tight game, someone's going to New York City, but it won't be both of these teams.

"For Boston, For Boston
we sing our proud refrain
For Boston, For Boston
tis wisdom's earthly fame
For here men are men
and our hearts are true
and the towers on the heights
reach to heavens own blue
For Boston, For Boston
til the echo's ring again

for boston, for boston
thy glory is our own
for boston, for boston
'tis here that truth is known
and ever with a right shall our heirs be found
'til time shall be no more and thy work is crowned
for boston, for boston
thy glory is our own!"

you mean 3-2

After two periods of play

NEW YORK
Notre Dame is tied with Boston College at 3. The first period was all BC but the second period was all Notre Dame. BC held their 3-0 until the middle of the second period when Aaron Gil had a say in things. He scored a power play goal to cut the BC lead to 3-1 then took advantage of a slow BC line change and broke away past Kaltianen to cut the lead to 3-2. BC focusing on Gil didn't realize that T.J. Jindra was wide open to slide it past Matti to tie the game, what a comeback by the Fighting Irish.

at the end of the first period...

NEW YORK
Denver leads North Dakota 1-0. Luke Fulgham scored a one-timer to give the Pioneers a 1-0 lead. A very tight game but a few BORING chants from the Garden faithful. Luckily, many of them were drunk on Zima.

at the end of two period of play

NEW YORK
North Dakota leads Denver 2-1. The Sioux scored early in the period with a rebound by David Lundbohm to tie the game. It stayed 1-1 for most of the second period. UND took the 2-1 with another crashing of the net and the loose puck shot in by Brandon Bochenski. Very close here, no one is chanting boring except for the die hard ranger fans who assume that the rangers are still playing.

What the hell? The game is 4-4, then Notre Dame scored. Then Notre Dame scored again to make it 5-5?
