This win by tie BS is really getting old. Talk about getting no respect!

I can not believe that we will be tied in goal against and goals for and we are in the sweet sixteen.

I am not feeling good right now for this team unless they can pick up their play.

Minnesota has 11 seconds to score...the puck is dropped, Vanek shoots goes off the crossbar and its over, Western Michigan advances.
WESTERN MICHIGAN 5 MINNESOTA 4

DULUTH,MN
A goal by Myles Kuharski 1 minute and 51 seconds into the overtime gives the Beavers a 3-2 lead. Bulldog fans should have some familiarity to this. tUMD has 1:51 to score, otherwise BSU will go to the sweet 16.

Think he needs his head examined... Minnesota scored 4 goals and they lose to a major cruddy WM team? LOL Pass what ever that is your smokeing around.

i totally agree with that, and for that part that maine of all teams gives up 4 goals in consecutive games to 2 teams that would have the slightest chance of scoring on Jimmy Howard or Frank Doyle or Ray Jean for that matter... maine gave up 4 goals 3 times the whole season, and to good teams, BU, UNH, and Ohio St... those names dont sound like plattsburg and UAA... yea put the grass down man..and i thought this whole thing was going to be somewhat serious.. i guess not

Minnesota lost early in the Frozen 64 in 2001-2002 so don't worry about it man Minnesota is known for its early round messups.

Just got back for the game. All I can say is WOW. Paul finally looked awesome getting the third of the night. It was an amazing night. Now on to Detroit for VENGENCE! against Notre Dame for breaking our hearts in OT in the CCHA playoffs. I hear that after the win WMU fans will be decending on the Joe en mass. ;)

GOOO BRONCOS!! W!M!U!

Payback time coming for the Irish! Tonight's game looked a lot like two or three from last year. We jump out to a big lead and have to hold on for dear life to come away with the win. I hope we play the way we have been known for this year (grind it out for 40 minutes and thump the cr@p out of the opposition in the third) in Detroit. Hey, we had theoretical home ice in the subregional, and will have it for the regional since I don't see ND or Miami bringing much of a cheering section.

I find that statement very amusing.

It is understandable that I can't please everyone. The point of this is entertainment, enjoy the real games this weekend.

At the end of period of play....

BOSTON
New Hampshire leads Denver 1-0. A good goaltending battle between Mike Ayers and Adam Burkhoel. It was scoreless until a minute left in the period when Brian Yandle slapped in a goal to make it 1-0 in favor of the Wildcats

ST.PAUL
North Dakota leads Providence 2-0. The shutout streak for Bobby Goephert has come to an end with a one-timer by Zach Parise, a minute after that the Sioux made it 2-0 by crashing the net and Zach Parise scored off a rebound. Its all Sioux here, 2-0 after one period.
