Since there's no New York, that's my vote. :D

Cincinnati will get a lot of votes from those who attanded the 1996 Frozen Four.
Those cities are all not New York, so I voted for all of them. :p

New York, NY. If God was to give the Earth an enema, he'd put the tube in New York City. Wouldn't catch me dead in that pit.
In my mind, many cities are not prizes either. Boston, San FranMoscow, Los Angeles, etc. None of them rank very high on my favorite places.
Now, if we're going to talk international (like the other thread does), I can think a lot of places I'd rather not be...Baghdad, Kabul, Islamabad, Pyongyang, and several others come to mind.

I didn't get a chance to go to the 1996 Frozen Four, But I recently went there. EEP!! I wasn't expecting the enormous homeless problem they have there, it was incredibly depressing. Yes, and at times annoying, as awful as I feel admitting it.
My friends and I were greeted off of the bus by a homeless guy that lived at the bus stop.
"HEY!! HOW'S IT GOIN'!?!? I LIVE HERE!!!"
I have smacked my friends a few times for quoting him looking for a laugh...

Detroit. Two words... Red Wings. That wins the case.
Denver = best city because of the Avs and Carmelo Anthony.

worst cities i've been to:
detroit
pittsburgh
philadelphia
miami
south bend, indiana. :)
detroit and philly are just downright disgusting. dirty, ghettos galore, the fear of being killed at every turn. pittsburgh is just a sad depressing city full of wandering drones with franco harris jerseys wondering what happened to the 'steel curtain'. miami is fun, but it's too fake and the crime situation is sketchy. south bend just sucks as a matter of course.

In terms of robbing taxpayers, Boston is by far the worst city. The big dig cost federal taxpayers billions, the vast majority of whom (including yours truely), could give a $hit less that the Boston waterfront is closed because of poor urban planning.

Atlanta is by far the worst city in this country that I've ever been to (I've never been to Miami, Detroit, or LA). Newark, NJ, Oakland, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Rochester, NY.....all Heaven compared to Atlanta. Come to think of it, I've never been to a city in the South (Arlington, VA doesn't count) that I like.
Xenia, OH  I've heard of that town because it was blown away in a tornado about 30 years ago, but otherwise I don't know if it's a bad city.
New York = greatest city on earth. :D

shockah!
what phyllis doesn't realize is if it weren't for boston, we'd be in england right now and his neurotic political threads would be about the queen.

What we are looking at here is some great scoop logic. Since 250 years ago, some patriots in Boston decided to dump some British tea in a harbor, we should, to thank them, dump $15 billion into a Boston harbor to bury some interstates.
I'm sure the Founding Fathers, who advocated small government, would love this use of public funds.
