Differing to the postseason as a true measure of success in a hockey season is not making excuses, it is simply prudence.

That said, I voted for underachieving. As expectations were set, they should have won the WCHA regular season. They have underachieved to this point, but two more important goals remain viably attainable.

Pretty dumb poll. If they got anything other that 1st (which is what happened) no one would have any choice but to say underacheiving.
