2 Herniated disks in his back...couldn't move his legs this morning so spent an hour on the floor...finally got him to the hospital...spent most of the day there...air lifted to Detroit this afternoon/tonight...surgery to remove the pressure either tonight or tomorrow am!

And apparently Reid's charges were minimized to a misdameanor..so he's back on the lineup

Oops! I stand corrected .... Matt V.'s issue is a knee problem. Hopefully he heals up soon.

i know matts out..

i was wondering about willie ciccone, the third string goalie... who happens to be one of matts roommates.

I was at the LSSU b-ball games today, so i only caught the third period.. bill made it sound like we were getting totally outplayed (the shots on goal agreed with him too.)

Did they sound that bad all the way through, or did they just tire out at the end of it?

I guess you misunderstood my answer. I said, "Highly doubtful, IMO" ... meaning, I doubt Willie will see any ice time in Omaha. (I followed that up with a statement about Matt ... sorry about the confusion!)

WAY TO GO LAKERS!!!! Awesome win against UNO!!!!

It sounded like they were badly outplayed in both the first and third periods. The second period, it sounded like both teams played pretty well. The difference was that both goalies were in a zone. Thankfully for the Lakers, Holt was in the Twilight Zone. Crawford said he looked "surprised" on two of the Laker goals.

I am headed out there for tomorrow's game. Hopefully they will play better and can get that sweep you've been picking on the other thread.

What a win!

Five goals on the road. Dunn and Rainville making things happen. Finishing in the 3rd despite being outshot.

Picking up points in every weekend lately -- and these road points are huge.

Very happy!!!

Congrats Lakers in your Thursday victory against UNO. They appear to be crumbling mid way through the season, and not gaining strength- like the Lakers.

Good luck tonight.

I'd say he's a MINUS ... just like Adam Nightengale! ;)

They have him at minus 2 right now

I guess I shouldn't be picking on Adam Nightengale, however I heard he wasn't playing (at one point) much for the Spartans. Sounds like his little brother Jared pulled a dumb penalty at the end of the game against ND last night that cost them the game. Geesh.

well the lakers couldn't pull off a sweep, but on a more positive note, WILLY GOT ICE TIME (be it only like 2 minutes). I bet he was excited even though he knew they were going to lose.

Definitely glad to hear things went well for Dom, too bad he'll be out for the rest of the season, but he needs to mend. I only got to listen to the last 1/2 of the third because we had a Christmas party tonight, but was thinking about the game the entire time we were out...

GOOD LUCK NEXT WEEKEND LAKERS!!!!
