My vote is for BC-BU.
I think you forgot:
Iona/Fairfield
PC/Quinnipiac
Pooley/Crowder
Conrad Hache/Everyone
Zach Parise/His legion of stalkers
and of course...
Canisius/North Dakota (the Cupcake Bowl) :D

Michigan-Ohio State? This question doesn't refer to college football, does it?
I'm biased, but I go with Minnesota-St. Cloud State.

How did BC-UNH (more or less just a message board rivalry) make it and not BU-Cornell or BU-Harvard.
There is no denying BU and BC hate each other, but the Lynah faithful definitely make Cornell-Harvard more interesting, be it fish tossing, chicken tying, or phallic throwing, the BU-BC antics just don't compete. UNH-Maine is a great rivalry and always sets decibel records in their respective arenas.

Aw, don't cry Jon, I'm sure you've seen hockey games. You've been to plenty of PC games right? Oh...nevermind... ;)
(Besides, you have seen a UNH/Maine game - 2 years ago, the HE finals. I know you were there. No denying it.)

I always enjoy watching Minnesota and Michigan go at it. Fantastic hockey in my opinion. Besides the loser gets to add the dinky letter, although many have been ingoring it as of late.

Something I'll say about BC-BU is that we give a flying **** about them about 5-6 days a year (whenever we play them in the regular season plus Beanpot and HE/NCAA tournament games regardless of whether or not they're playing us), whereas their entire identity as a school, hockey-related or not, revolves around "**** BC!!"

I can't believe no one has complained about the absence of Clarkson-SLU from this poll.

I'm refusing to vote because Clarkson-SLU isn't a choice... ***!!

We would have to have an unified identity in order to have one which revolved around "**** BC!!" Except for section 8 (which is a very small percentage of the school), no one cares about BC... the average BU student is more likely to complain about a kid in a NU sweatshirt being loud at the Fenway theater or running a cart into them at Star Market... things that don't happen with BC kids, since they are so far away. Personally, I blame the "BC sucks" chants on being too close to Fenway, as many alumni have assured me that it is a recent phenomenon, and many fans (myself included) think it's rather silly (fun at times, but silly ;) ). As far as more academic based topics go, we're too far in the shadow of Harvard or MIT in most areas to care if BC students are waving around copies of US News. There's so many differing polls and rankings out there almost anyone (going far beyond Boston) can find that their university/ school or college / major is ranked in front of anyone else's and sleep well at night. You have relatively small lead (mid-40s vs low-60s I believe) on the most famous/maligned current overall ranking... please accept my congratulations.

Never underestimate the UND-Minnesota rivalry. Back in the day (five years ago) when MN came to UND, it was a tradition to see dead gophers on the ice after the first goal of the night. That is a rivalry!!

Dead gophers on the ice go back faaaaaaaaaaaaar longer than 5 years

This argument begins and ends with Minnesota vs. Wisconsin. Even Mike Eruzione agrees and he's from out east.
