Bemidji wins in OT - 4-3!!!!!

And that pretty much sums up why OSU struggles making progress in the conference. They play quite well against Mankato and then stumble against a team that by all reckoning, they should beat.

No wonder OSU wanted out of the conference. I wonder what kind of travel arrangements it takes to go from Columbus to Bemidji?

These kind of games are so hard to figure. The Buckeyes get behind in the first, tie it up in the second, give up a PP goal a minute into the 3rd, and don't get it back until they pull their goalie in the final minute. You'd think they would have all of the momentum in OT. But each team gets three shots in OT. I don't think I've ever seen the game-winning goal scored as a buzzer beater in OT berfore. Well, good for Bemidji; I guess this indicates there might be better days ahead for their team.
