Thought this article deserves its own thread:

Couple thoughts - first it's convenient that once again the Globe does an article on Ruggiero the week leading up to Harvard-Dartmouth. Nice that this one's pretty long too.

They should have gone to a more reliable source than Ben Smith in asking about the expected women's hockey attendance for the Dartmouth game. Only 400?? I mean, expecting 1,741 again might be a bit much, but I'd have to think they'd get at least 1,000 on Sunday. These things are tough to predict though.

Worst quote of the article - "it's not surprising that women's hockey is as popular as bobsled or luge." - REALLY???? Is there a bobsled or luge event that draws 2,000 per game like Minnesota Gophers women's hockey?? Did 10,000 people and millions more on TV (esp. in Canada) watch bobsled and luge as the 2002 Olympic Gold medal game?? I don't track bobsled/luge attendance figures but I feel that quote's out of line.

Ang will be just fine next year, though not as fine as say Dominic Moore. What percentage of college students don't ever go through some sort of existential crisis??
