Anyone out there know if the women are going to follow the guys to HE in '05-'06?

There's no way they'd take the men and not the women. The women might be there earlier since their schedules are more flexible. Find out for sure tomorrow morning.

When it first broke that Vermont was looking to move the article mentioned moving both the mens and womens programs.

"nation's premier conference in men's AND women's hockey" - umm... sure.

Yes, if you count ECAC championships before 1998 won by current Hockey East schools as national championships then clearly Hockey East is the premier women's conference. Riiight.
Not to say that Hockey East doesn't have greater potential long term growth, but no question Hockey East is a distant third behind the WCHA and ECAC in terms of the top tier teams right onow.
