who among these "elite" team is, realistically, painfully overrated?

Comparing their poll rankings to their KRACH rankings, I'd say that New Hampshire, Mass, Brown, and Miami are the most overrated. I voted for New Hampshire.

Brown should fall out of the polls after their abysmal performance this weekend.

UNH overrated? I don't know where people are coming up with that. They were projected to be in the top 10, maybe the top 5 for a few weeks, and they have been. there is plenty of hockey to be played yet. I would not count them out just yet.

I voted for michigan. They have not shown up against the higher ranked teams this season. They got spanked by Miami, lost to BC . In terms of opponents, the only quality W they have is against MSU, a team that took two points from them as well.

UNH is slumping, so I wouldn't call that overrated.

I agree with Michigan, but also throw maine's hat in that ring. who have they beat? and who have they lost to? padding wins vs OOC cupcakes, and getting pummeled by the iron of the league.

Wisconsin looks like their only quality win. They've lost to BC, UNH, Umass, OSU and Notre Dame.

But, their RPI is 3rd in the nation. But that doesn't take into account things like beating Minnesota when they're in a slump.

I voted for Maine as they are truly overrated. Should be 8th or 9th in the polls IMHO

No doubt in my mind its Michigan. They almost lost to two Atlantic Hockey teams. I can see maybe one of those two teams (Mercyhurst and Quinnipiac) giving them a battle and maybe they would have an off night but both teams could have walked out of there with a win (and a nice check).

Im a little suprised that minnesota wasnt even the poll. Everyone was thinking that they would 3-peat, but there not even in the top 10.

maine's rpi is high because of their win %. look at their SOS, OP' SOS, and OP's OP's SOS, nowhere in the top 10.

Dare I say a big test for Maine will be their 2 at BU this weekend... if they get less than 3 points it will speak volumes... BU is still a tough team, but one that contenders should be able to beat, even on the road, this season.

the 32 people who voted for BC and UND should have their breathing priviledges revoked.
