Kristin Savard and Nina Resor, both out of Assabet, are solid contributors at Yale.

Liz Keady has 2 goals and 3 assists at Princeton

Winsorhockeydad, I agree. I always liked Resor on D. A kid who is very quiet but speaks volumes on the ice. She's a player who is "underrated" I think because her cousin Helen is much more outgoing and lively on the ice.... Savard too, she always contributes yet during her youth at Chelmsford/Assabet and Milton never really got the recognition she deserved.

Funnybone, how about Lindsay Weaver, Harvard defense, as another quiet effective contributor. Her stat line says she has played in all 10 games, although I think her 3 assists were all against Union.

winsor: I can't recall Lindsay Weaver. I use to follow the prep school hockey but have sort of been out of the loop. Did she play for a local prep school? I used to go to local prep school games to see local kids and once in a while I would get to a RI tournament to follow up. Now I'm trying to catch up I forgot how fun it was. We should have a "whatever happened to.........thread"

Funnybone, I'm not sure where Lindsay played her school hockey, but I remember her on the Assabet team.

Lindsay Weaver, if I am not mistaken, comes from Leominster and did not play prep hockey at all. She may have played for the boys high school team.

Wacker formerly from Assabet. One of the few if not only kid from the east that went out west. Second line for the Gophers. 6 goals 3 assists. Part of first penalty kill unit that maybe best in country.

After yesterday's big game against Harvard, I would like to remention Christine Capuano, goalie at Dartmouth. She is 4-0 with some huge wins (UMD, UNH).

Unless you see the games..you cant tell from only the shots on goals....The top 4 teams are getting better quality scorring chances. They have more natural scorers, and alot more offensive punch.

If their goalies are stopping several shots from outside the slot area or actual dump ins from the blue line, we end up reading it as shots on goals.

Lets see who gets outshot, and comes up with the big game.

I agree that Capuano is a great rookie goalie, but she did get help from her team who didnt allow Harvard many second chances.
As for other rookies, although BC is not ranked, I think that Lombardi is one of the better freshman in the league. Large role on her team. Played well at QU last week.

If you havent seen Michelle Bonello play yet for Mercyhurst she is nice to watch. She is killer on the Power Play. I believe all four goals this year have been on the PP. She has 9 assists also. Nice hands also.
