After a bit of research I found her name: Rebecca Allen. I didn't find any evidence she'd signed with Princeton. Anyone know of any other Princeton signees?
Since the late signing period begins today, we should start seeing a few more announcements in the next week or so. I'm not sure why more schools don't highlight their incoming recruits. It seems like it would be one of the easier parts of the recruiting process to give these players some recognition and not appear apathetic about their commitment.

...and perhap's even a little bit of a promotional aspect for their program & womens hockey in general. I enjoy the bio's on the school websites a great deal...the more extensive the better.

I haven't seen anything official or posted on this thread but there was an earlier thread with a link to an article on the Nichols School (Buffalo, NY) which mentioned two of their players, Brittany Salmon and Marykate Oakley, are heading to Princeton. Both also played for the Buffalo Bisons 19U and were at the USA Hockey 16/17 Development Festival in Lake Placid last summer.

Thanks, Moxie.
The Princeton athletics website is pretty extensive and offers bios and complete info on current players, but does not post news on recruits. I won't know about these players until the women's ice hockey section is updated in September.

So does anyone have an opinion on who has the best recruiting class? As a relatively new fan of women's hockey (I've followed men's hockey for a longer time), I am curious as to what opinions are out there regarding different schools recruits?
Who has the best incoming class in the ECAC? WCHA? CHA? HE?

you'll probably have to wait another month or two before you know for sure what the ECAC (esp. Ivy) classes are going to look like, aside from a few posts here and there on this board.

Just an observation but looking at the recruiting classes of UND, Bemidji & MSU It surely appears there will soon be no pushovers in the WCHA with stiff competition top to bottom, every series, week after week. Should be great fun to watch.

I should make clear from the start I know very little about the current recruits for OSU, Wisconsin & St. Cloud but my feeling here is the two top recruiting classes in the WCHA thus far are UMD's & Minnesota's with it being difficult (for me anyway) to pick either one as better than the other. I think each program got a nice group of player's with Anya Miler, Erica McKenzie, Jenelle Philipczyk & I think / hope Liz Palkie for the Gopher's & Drazan, Holznagel, Rundqvist, Schols & Agozzino for the Bulldog's. I'm sure I heard & read somewhere that Palkie had signed with Minnesota but don't see her mentioned on the Gopher website recruit page. Being a Gopher fan I will say, I wouldn't trade their group for anyone else's
I know MSU got commitments from two player's out of Minnesota high school rank's (Amanda Storh & Kristina Bunker) during the early signing period that I personally believe are two fine player's who, with the returning group might make this the best Maverick team ever. Not to mention this somewhat mysterious, highly regarded goalie from Canada I keep hearing about, to replace the departed Shari Vogt.
If you follow the link ARM posted to the Bemidji site with a list of their recruit's & bio's, that's a pretty nice recruiting class also. I never got the chance to see Brookshaw (goalie) play while in high school but heard nothing but rave reviews for the last two years. She was chosen all state by the Pioneer Press this last season with a 1.46 GAA & .936 save percentage. I heard rumor's that she maintained a sub 2.00 GAA her entire high school career, the first portion of which was on the boy's team in Webster, Wi., but don't know if that's true or not. Pullar from Elk River, another all state choice, is a talented forward also.
Look's to me the level of competition in the WCHA is definitely on the upswing with eight player's (that I know of so far) from the Minnesota all state selections headed to WCHA programs for the 04/05 season.

A quick look at Bemidji's roster for last year and they had 24 players listed with two of those being seniors. With bringing in 8 recruits it appears there maybe some substanial changes to next years roster.

One of us is confused, because I thought it was Brookshaw in nets when you and I watched Hill Murray vs. SSP in section semis in Roseville.

A couple of years ago there was someone who kept a running summary of all the signings for each school I think it was usually on the Early signings thread. Is there one available these days somewhere? It was a great idea.
I believe that was Mattj711 and he did an excellent job. I have not seen a post from him in some time.

Does anyone know anything about Myrissa? Someone told me there was a newspaper article about her being a 'star' player from western Ontario who made the news because she has tax problems for taking an academic high school scholorship and not paying the tax on it. Don't really know anything more about the tax or school issue, but the suggestion was that she is a superstar player. Ever heard of her?
