McArthur in the box for body checking . Gillian Gallagher is down. She got hit pretty good. Just a 2:00 penalty. Could have been more.
Gallagher just got up. Scary for a moment.

Just began the 3rd. Mercyhurst held the advantage in SOG in the 2nd 14-9.
Great job by the zamboni driver to get the old piece of crap zamboni off the ice during his cut. Referee had to do some cleaning up of snowballs on the ice. Fuel line freeze I guess.

The announcer just announced that the assist by Del Monte was her 100th career point. Congrats Teresa
Also, their was a change in scoring in the Mercyhurst 2nd goal. I didnt quite hear it other than I heard they gave an assist to McDonald. I dont know if there was any other change.

Riley scores a fluke goal with under a minute to go to score QU's only goal of the weekend. Riley dumped the puck in from the center line and a Mercyhurst player stuck her stick up and it deflected it in the goal. I feel bad for Desi. She played well despite only seeing something like 20 shots for the game.
Next is Ohio St. next weekend. I am looking foward to this game.

After 2 periods of play Mercyhurst and Ohio St. are tied at 1-1. Ohio St. controlled the first while Mercyhurst dominated the 2nd. Mercyhurst was flying in the 2nd. Many good opportunities to score but only one found the back of the net. Goal for Mercyhurst was from Shirley. I didnt get to see the OSU goal in the first.

Great individual effort by Chrissy Yule to score the game winner just over half way through the third period. An exciting game played in front of around 500 loud fans. Mercyhurst outplayed the Buckeyes over the last 50 minutes of the game. Ohio St. controlled the first 10 but that was about it. Desi Clark made some more unbelievable saves today. Great job Lakers!!!

Glaser. She did a fine job also. I am sure she will be named 2nd or 3rd star today.

Was at the game today. Glaser played so much better than Clark. Desi was very lucky, made several saves off balance and if it weren't for a very strong defense keeping shots from wide angles, would have been 4-2 Buckeyes. Same as with T-Bone last year, very little true talent, just good "D" in front of her.

You have got to be kidding me. I will take nothing away from Glasser because she did play a good game but to say Desi Clark has very little true talent tells me one of two things. Your daughter wanted to go to Mercyhurst and wasnt invited or you know very little about hockey. That was one of the most assinine statements I have heard on this board.
