Thank you--I no longer will be sucked into RStarrs crap. I emailed him to explain something I wrote and he called me a tool. I'm done with him.--xxxx

Stick to the topics on the threads! I'm a well rounded fan. I call it like I see it, in any thread (no permission needed).

PS - Sk8happy is the one (incorrectly) discussing BC's schedule in this thread. Looks like your beef aint with me

And he repped me neg and called me a tool first (and left no name. -- surprise ). I returend the favor.

To be correct, it was regarding my rebuttal to sk8happy in the No Dak thread and you said: "CHILDISH AT BEST, AND WAY OFF TOPIC.....and left NO NAME. surprise again

obviously you aren't reading all of the posts (or well enough) so you would be one of those posters that I would classify as "not worth my time." In this instance, I simply skip your posts. I suggest you do the same for me.

Done Good. Do you feel better? Are you ready to get back to the topic of the thread now Videohockey?

Obviously you aren't reading the whole post, either.

This guy/girl, whatever, is a moron. Mic called 'it' a tool. He couldn't have hit the nail more squarely. "it" left me neg feedback as well  I could care less. There are lots of good fans in here who are interested in engaging in hockey dialogue- Arm, Hux, Mic, Cloud, the BC twins, and lots of others.
What separates the good ones from this fool, is they comment when they have something intelligent to offer.
This 'tool' as Mic so aptly commented, is sadly unavoidable, since 'it' can't seem to stop trying to impress everyone with whatever 'it' does know.
I wouldn't sweat it Video, hopefully this 'child' as you say, finds a new sandbox.

'Hurst's high expectations
2nd-ranked Mercyhurst women open quest for national title with exhibition game

BY RON LEONARDI
ron.leonardi@timesnews.com*[more details]

Mercyhurst College's path to the women's Frozen Four was blocked in 2004-05 by Harvard, which defeated the Lakers 5-4 in triple overtime.
In 2005-06, the Lakers saw their season end with another NCAA quarterfinals loss, 2-1 to Wisconsin in double overtime. Last season, Minnesota-Duluth upset the Lakers 3-2 in overtime in the quarterfinals.
"This is our year to do it, no excuses," senior captain Stephanie Jones said. "We're tired of heartbreaks."
Mercyhurst, ranked No. 2 by USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine, hosts the Vaughan Flames in an exhibition game tonight at 7 at the MIC. The Lakers open their regular season Tuesday with a College Hockey America game at Robert Morris.
"I think our team is ready to pick it up and use last season as a stepping stone," junior defender Natalie Payne said.

Duplicating last season's success will be a big challenge.
Mercyhurst set a single-season school record with 32 wins and spent 11 weeks ranked No. 1 in both national polls. The Lakers also won their fifth straight CHA regular-season and playoff championships and earned a third straight NCAA playoff appearance.
The only downer in their 32-2-3 season - the most successful in the program's eight-year history - was the upset loss to Minnesota Duluth in the playoffs.
"This year our goal is to hopefully mimic what we were able to accomplish last season and go further in the postseason," Jones said. "We know it's not always going to happen like that. You're going to lose games, but this year we're going in with some very talented players we brought in. We have very high expectations. Our goal is not only to go to the Frozen Four but to win it all, and I think we have the potential to do that."
For that to happen, the Lakers must overcome the graduation losses of several key players from 2006-07, including forwards Stefanie Bourbeau and Julia Colizza and defenders Michelle Bonello and Ashley Pendleton.

Top returning players include Jones, Payne, sophomore forward Meghan Agosta, junior forward Valerie Chouinard, senior defender Danielle Ayearst and senior goaltender Laura Hosier.
Lakers coach Michael Sisti fortified his roster with eight recruits - seven freshmen and forward Hayley McMeekin, a junior transfer from Quinnipiac who has played a couple years on the Canadian under-22 team.
"We're real young and we lost some great players, and we just don't know how long it will take us to get rolling on all cylinders," Sisti said. "That's going to be the challenge: to try and win as many games early while we're getting game experience for the young players."
Sisti believes the Flames will give his team that challenge tonight.
The Flames are the former Etobicoke Dolphins, who played last season in Canada's National Women's Hockey League. NWHL officials suspended play this season, and players on many of the former NWHL teams formed their own league, scheduling games against college teams and other former league members.

"We have eight new players and this game is nice for our young players to play against players who have played four years of college and who have had international competition," Sisti said. "It's a nice way to see what we have early against a good team. They're older players, maybe 22 to 30 years old. They're seasoned veterans. It helps us assess ourselves."

Vicki Bendus scored with about 5 minutes to go in the period to tie up the game for the Lakers. Schols looks real good as does Agosta. The rest look rusty but that is what is expected. Hosier in goal for the 1st period and made a great save with about :53 left in period. Lakers outshoot Vaughn 14-8 in the period. Nice crowd as well.

No scoring in the 2nd period but MC looked much better than in the 1st. Even though Bendus scored the goal in the first I thought she looked real tentative but she really came alive in the 2nd. I like her on the line with Agosta. Hosier played the 2nd as well.
The Vaughn goalie, Quinn, made a real nice save on Agosta near the end of the period.
Interesting watching Mel Rothon playing for Vaughn and not for the Lakers.

Bendus scores again in a wide open net on a beautiful feed from Agosta.
Drennen has made some nice saves to start the period.

Ouch...I bet that's a tough one to swallow :(

Thanks for the updates MIC....Looks like Bendus is gonna be one to watch. Someone commented before that she may be small in stature, but like Erica Lawler, her play is anything but small.

Dianoski scores from Agosta at 16:07 to make the lead 3-1. Drennen making some outstanding saves to keep the Lakers on top.

It's a wrap. MC wins 3-1. The ice was slightly tilted for Vaughn in the 3rd period as they did a very nice job with scoring opportunities but Courtney Drennen was awesome in net. Bendus will do well and lets hope she is on the Agosta line all year.

My 3 stars would have to go to
#3 Courtney Drennen
#2 Meghan Agosta
AND YOUR NUMBER ONE STAR GOES TO:
#1 Vicky Bendus

Way to go ladies and stick to RMU this week.

Thanks MIC for all the updates. Great for Courtney and all the Lakers. I agree Bendus is doing very nicely.
