What are the dates for the Lake Placid playoffs? (Every time I tell someone when I think they are -- March 16 and March 18 --they tell me I'm crazy.)I can't comment on your sanity, but your Frozen Four dates are correct.

The team made today's New York Times!!!

Showing Agosta scoring her third of four goals against Yale. They compare her style to Sidney Crosby's, and of course wearing his number 87. Very cool for the team to be in a global publication!

Actually, I believe she was wearing #87, before Crosby decided to go with it.

Can anybody give me some pointers about such things as when, and how best, to make reservations in Lake Placid? Buy tickets to the games? ]

I went online to Lake Placid's website. There is an e-form you can fill out with your stay requirements and the hotels, etc that can accommodate you will get back to you. I made reservations a month ago - I've never been to LP, and it will be a fun weekend of hockey and outdoor activity regardless of who plays. You should get right on it though - a lot of places were already booked full a moth ago~
Good luck.

I don't want to blow a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see our girls win the whole thing!

I hope that you touched wood after posting that.

Couldn't agree with that statement more Mr. T!

It's not how you start, it's how you finish~
That #1 is in the center of a bullseye that gets bigger the longer you have it.

You need to go back to when she played in the canada winter games in New Brunswick, she wore #87 there. That's about 4 years ago.

End of the first and MC seems to really be dominating RM (up 3-0, 22 shots to 3).

After two periods Mercyhurst is up 6-0. Lorsell and Jones each have 2 goals, McArthur and Chouinard one each.
Live stats now show Jones with one goal and Bourbeau with a goal and Chouinard with none. Some changes in the scoring.

Yep, MC up 6-0. Shots on goal after 2 periods are 42-7. I wonder if we will see Nelson in the 3rd. The crowd is chanting for her.

Might be a good chance for her. Think Drennen would be pleased for her, too.

Well, 7-0 Laker final. Good to see all the playing time spread out today. The girls may need it down the stretch. It was good to see Nelson get some time between the pipes. You could tell she needed the time, she looked quite a bit rusty.

Let hope we see another good showing from the girls tomorrow.

That shouldn't be a problem for you, did RMU even get 10 SOG for the game? :p

Good opportunities for the 3rd & 4th Liners and the backups to get some on ice time with the playoffs coming up can never be bad. Scoring goals without Agosta being on the ice also has to be nice to see.

3:00 to go in the 1st and Mercyhurst is leading 4-0. I don't think RMU has a shot yet. Agosta with 2 goals, Chouinard and Lorsell with one apiece. RMU must have 5 penalties already with some obvious one's not even called. OUCH!!!!

Wow...I noticed all the penalties. Is Drennen getting her philosophy and history done?

MICZamboni

Shots on goal were 25-0. Not only did Drennen get her homework done but she had time for a sandwich and soda.

This is probably the biggest crowd of the year.

As I am writing this MC just scored. Probably less than a minute in the period.
