Hey HH:

"No one else has a 10,000 post thread detailing every bowel movement of every possible recruit two years ahead of time."

You are correct---no one else does. That is why we are WISCONSIN HOCKEY!!!!!! And very proud!

I only throw some contradictions in to bring you back to earth.

If you want to bring us back to earth perhaps you should pick people to bring up that are BETTER than those that we discuss/have. The over used Hunwick argument is weak since he is nowhere near the level of those you are comparing them to.
Also, is it so wrong to want to keep track of wisconsin kids and who we are looking at. If you actually read this thread regularily, you would notice most of those that get discussed are not the big hitters like Suter, Auffrey, Likens, Klubertanz, Hagemo(who we lost out on) and Pavelski, but rather the other recruits that are so important to fill in the roster. Why does it bug you that we care about our personnel for next year and want to keep up on their progress until them come here/commit here? Thats another level to hockey fandom that those that dont have it dont get. Guess you dont have it. In fact, why do you care, since last time I checked, this is a free country and a free board where I can start any hockey related thread that I want and discuss it at whatever length I deem fit. Go back to your Michigan threads where though people like you just as little, at least they are from your state.

Hmmm...Hobart talking about someone else hyping recruits. Methinks Hobart must not read his own posts.

Eric

Another question not answered was if the Craig Norwich at hockeyscouting.ca is the former superstar Badger Dman.

If that is Danny's son, is he considering UW in the future? I would think he is headed to a year in USHL?

Indeed!:-))

I remember seeing a thread recently on the OPJHL message board that said Cogliano broke his ankle and would be out 6-8 weeks. I'm not sure if it's true or not but I'm willing to bet that HH will fill us in on all the details!:-))

Guys, come on now. You must know better that to get into a battle of wits with an unarmed man. Just try ignoring him, and maybe he'll go away.

We tried and he just came back once Michigan started winning again.

It lists Dan's hometown as WBL, so I suppose it's possible.

Just curious...

Wisconsin Hockey: Another UW father-son combo?

Eric, according to a post on poi, Dan is his uncle. http://www.prideonice.com/chat/viewthread.php?thread_id=8488&sec_id=1

Thanks for answering the Gorowsky question. I had his uncle
Dan in a class when I was an undergrad---nice guy. The posts stated that he was leaning to East coast schools----why?

Eric, did we even offer to Ludwig? If we did, probably not a full?

I still expect a surprise---no one we even have mentioned---just guessing...

Read somewhere that Rankin was going to commit soon also, any news on who landed him?

A. No idea! If we didn't get him, though, I'd assume we didn't really want him! (using HH logic, of course):-))

B. The Badgers aren't in the mix for Rankin. His final 2 are CCHA schools from what I understand.

milzie- Thanks for the info on Gorowsky!

Ludwig was on the Texas Tornado with Matt Nickerson a year ago. Nickerson was a league All Star, while Ludwig was not even a regular on his own team. I don't think that Ludwig will be any great shakes in the NCAA.

Rumor has it Josh Engel is also hearing from UMD and Air Force..not sure who else. He's the big Wisconsin kid who visited about a month ago with Jimmy Kilpatrick. He and Klubertanz both play for GB.

Or Roddy's hyping of Detroit. Please I think we all know which one is worst.

I am starting to get an uneasy feeling about our recruiting. I look at Heisenberg's list for UND, Minnesota,....... and they are reloading. We haven't had any recruits verbal for a very long time. I just hope we are not reaching for a couple of superstars who may not decide to come. Any thoughts?? Maybe this question will start a flood of verbals for 2005 etc.....
