Assuming your team had none of these sophomores, which one would you want?

Vanek hands down. Parise was on fire at the beginning of last season, but he kinda died off. Vanek didnt. thats why he scored 31 goals, got both GW goals in both FF games and was WCHA Rookie of the Year, and i think i'm forgetting something.....oh yeah! he set 2 NCAA records for goals (5) and assists (8) in the tournament. and geez...i feel like i'm missing something else.....oh how could i forget!? the FF tournament Most Outstanding Player! not to mention he led his team in scoring with the aforementioned 31 goals. and he was MVP of the Golden Gopher hockey team! i think i'm done...i think i made my point.

Only because he's at Dartmouth and not Minn or BC or NoDak.

If Jessiman were at any of the above schools or Michigan or even Harvard, he'd probably be mentioned in the same breath as them.

As it is, I hope he remains under the radar long enough for him to do some damage when he faces em in the NCAA's in a couple years.

Of course we're all homers. Vanek had a monster year but methinks Jessiman should be preferred to Eaves or Parise. Eaves had lame year and NHL liked Jessiman better than Parise who fell to late first round. All blue chips though. Fun to see who is starring in NHL in ten years. Don't bet against Jessiman, still the rawest in formal training. Bulking up nicely and training with Rangers rest of month. That BC game v Eaves should be a good one (unfortunately will be at BC).
