HAB: RIGHT ON . Have read each and every one of your posts and my take on all of them is -uncanny knowledge of the game- analytical mind-common sense always-never a wasted word- Please post more often as you are a delight to read-a distinct change of pace [ for the better ] from run-of-the-mill posts. GO ENGINEERS GO.... :p
Hey Hab, tell your mom to get off the computer. :D

McGill is now 2-3 on the year against D1 NCAA teams, splitting with RPI (two one-goal games), losing 1-0 to Yale, beating Dartmouth 3-2, and losing to St.Lawrence 4-1. Currently ranked #4 in Canada.
I wish someone (with knowledge) would start a thread about women's college (university) hockey in Canada.
I'm interested, but have no knowledge of the situation up there. :o

If you can be bothered to take the time to search, a guy who calls himself 'The Prof' (also contributes on USCHO occasionally) ran a thread on the following forum, dealing exclusively with Canadian university women's hockey and what Canadian players should know about the subject. Very useful. But you have to search for it among the usual 'yah boo sucks' posts which are much more prevalent than those on this forum:

...or, if you're just interested in Canadian university leagues and teams, this page on the Canadian university sport website includes links to all of them:

Relax, relax. It was made in fun. Anyway, I know it was a bold prediction but even if I'm wrong, oh well. I have nothing to base it on (like most predictions made on several threads on men's and women's side) other than wishful thinking. Good luck to both teams.

Noticed that 5 out of 7top point-getters on RPI are Freshmen & that a Defenseman is listed as No.3 Nationally out of over 200 defensemen on 35 D1 teams. Another 2 years of similar quality picks & the ENGINEERS should be in the thick   of the race for a top 10 rating in ECAC. Kudos to Sarah Youlen & John Burke for a tremendously successful recruiting job.
RPI takes an early 1-0 lead after 2 minutes against Plattsburgh: Jacquard-Sowa from Daniel.

Yes it is. They're currently playing an interview with Coach Burke during the intermission.
After one period, the score is tied at 1.

RPI 3-2 in OT
Engineers were swarming the net in OT and McDonald gets credit for the winner.

It sure seemed that RPI took at up a notch in the overtime.
Overtime dominated by the Engineers and they come up with the winner with a couple minutes left. Mcdonald, I believe. As I had expected, though, Plattsburgh was a handful for RPI.
