Very interesting article Jen, with the Thrashers letting so many forward go this early, one can only hope that they are going to give Brad Tapper a real shot this year considering his offensive output in the games that he played in the NHL last year.:)
Tough break for Hartigan, I hope he can catch on with another team. Probably in the AHL, but with the right team, he could get another shot with an NHL team.

Hartigan signed with Colombus today. That makes three SCSU alums in the Colombus system with Duvie Westcott and Joe Motzko already signed.

I believe on the same day Hartigan was sent down, his former teammate at SCSU Joe Motzko was called up. Motzko appeared in a couple games and was sent back down yesterday.
