The goal reminds me of Josh Langfeld's goal in the 1998 Championship game.


I was saying to my roommate just before the goal was scored, "that would suck if they scored now cause everytime they show the goal on the highlights they will have that dumb NHL Playoffs graphic in the middle of the screen". oh well.

Vanek's move wasn't exactly "stellar" compared to what he is capable of doing---but it went in and it sends the Minny Boys on to a 2nd straight chance to win the whole thing. That is AWESOME! You dudes from "BAAWWSTON" have a tough time seeing other teams whoop it up-----I feel for ya.

You are correct I was just a little too pumped up after that game. When I saw a replay later I saw that Montoya didnt even move.

Edit: Not that I'm saying its bad to be happy after a win.
