Congrats UNH, very nicely done.

Ayers with a very nice save with about :25 to go to save it. I think it went off his mask.

Off to the championship game.

Good work by UNH.

Congrats to Cornell on a good season.

Okay. How long until the REAL whining about the no-goal begins?

Good game by the Cats. Cornell had a great team...and had a great year. Nothing to be ashamed of....they certainly didn't quit.

So who played the better game? I guess shots were even, but from what little I heard on the radio it sounded like Cornell out played them. Maybe UNH just went into a defensive shell with the lead???

The ghosts of 1977-1982 ect., etc., etc,. are stirring, rattling, shaking off dust, rising, peeking over the edge and who do they see HOMER.
And he says.....

"In our mortal lives, the gods assign a proper time... For each thing upon the good earth."

Unless of course one is taking all of this a bit too seriously....nah!

Thanks to everyone who posted on the score thread. Reliving the game now, a few days later, it actually matches pretty closely the feelings that the game generated. Cornell started out in complete domination, UNH jumped them after the wave off, then Cornell regrouped, persevered, fought back, and were the proverbial inch away.

It was a great game between two great teams. Perhaps we will make it three straight meetings at the Fleet.
