Reading the story of the injury was downright frightening.

Best wishes to Joe, get well soon. I enjoyed having the opportunity to watch him play at Michigan earlier this season. Godspeed towards a complete recovery.

Joe,

As your college career is drawing to a close, the moments before this sad, sudden ending exemplify what a true Warrior you have been these past years - giving your all for the team and putting yourself in harm's way.

From this BU fan's view, I always knew the Terriers had better come prepared when facing Exter between the pipes.

You have my wishes for a smooth recovery and my respect.

So sad... I am really sick to my stomach. I have never heard bad things about this kid. hockey aside, who cares about hockey right now. I hope and pray he has a full and speedy recovery. He has a tough road ahead. My thoughts are with his family :(

Here's to a speedy and complete recovery from a hockey fan first and a Mankato and Minnesota fan secondly. An injury like this is the one thing you never want to hear about.

As a Huskies fan I rooted against Exter last weekend, and cheered when he failed as all Huskies fans did. Tonite Joe...my prayers are with you. God Bless.

Get well soon, The tee shirt that says, Hockey, nothing else matters, just isn't true. We Mainers know that for a fact. Look forward to seeing you play the game of hockey again.
