Great news! I hope you make a full and speedy recovery Joe (although it never seems speedy enough when you're the one going through it :)).

Joe --

As a former Merrimack hockey announcer on radio and employee of the college, your play over the last four years has been a source of pride to me as a Warrior fan. But I've never been prouder of a Warrior player than I am now.

The courage shown by you and your family is a true testiment to your drive and fight. The amount of support you've received from the MC and hockey communities is a true testiment to your heart -- and how you've touched everyone's lives, regardless of whether you've even met them.

Continue fighting -- we'll continue praying. We all cannot wait to see you back on your feet and back on the ice, hopefully to drop the first puck at the National Championship.

Keep fighting Joe. I know from a similar experience that you can make it through this and you will back playing soon. Keep up the good work and everyone is pulling for ya. I agree, you should be the one to drop the puck for the national championship game. Stay strong X.

Joe, we are all so incredibly psyched to hear about your progress!! I hope to see you on national TV, dropping the puck for the NCAA Championship game as has been suggested on this thread. Who else better embodies the fighting spirit of a champion?

We're all still pulling for you, man. I shouted out, "YES!!" when I read the latest article. My colleagues think I'm nuts! :D :D
