This is the best news I've heard in a long time! I knew he would pull through. He's such a stong competitor I knew he wouldn't let this tragedy win. On whether he's conscious or not, before, hockeyeastonline said that he was still unconscious, but with this update they have taken that part down, so I'm assuming he's conscious. That may be why he's been upgraded?

I was watching Fox Sports New England while eating supper, and Greg Dickerson mentioned Exter's condition. I am EXTREMELY happy to hear your condition has improved, Joe. As many of us knew you would, Joe -- always a true Warrior.

Great news! Joe, nothing would make me happier than to have you drop the ceremonial puck for the NCAA championship game!
If anyone in authority is listening, please make it happen if Joe is ready, willing, and able!

I heard the news on 'EEI on the drive home...made me smile from ear to ear! I let out a loud "GO JOE!!"
Also reminded me that there was a prayer service at 'Mack this evening for Joe. The cares and prayers can never be too much.
Again, out loud, "GO JOE!!!"

Wonderful!!!
Keep believing, Joe. You CAN do this!!
We all need to keep up the prayers, DON'T LET UP.
My prayer, again: Joe, May the "Healer of Every Ill" be with you and watch over you. Also, may the "Healer of Every Ill" be with all of those immediately affected: your parents and family, your coachand team mates, your school mates, Coach York, his players, and especially Patrick Eaves. Please help them all.
Thank you.

Was there anything more about his condition announced at the prayer service? The www.warriorhockey.com site has the following on their front page:WBZ-4 in Boston reported that according to head coach Chris Serino, Exter recognized him when he visited him at the hospital earlier in the day (Tuesday).
