God has a way of revealing Himself thru tragedies and crises. Though what happened to Joe is beyond awful, it has brought many people to their knees in prayer for a person they never heard of. Joe is God's child, one of His creation. I pray that God bless Joe with a full and complete recovery.

This is a wonderful place to show support for Joe, but it may not necessarily be the proper forum to post a deeply spritual prayer. For those who feel like offering up a prayer for Joe in a more spritual way, you can go to:

http://www.theprayerroom.com/

I've posted a couple of prayer requests in the Prayer Room Chaplain's forum and have had good prayer responses from other PRCs. Anyone can post a prayer or request for prayers in the Prayer Request forum. Joe needs our support and prayers. And let's not forget Patrick Eaves. There is probably no one with a heavier heart over this than Patrick. May God richly bless all those who have supported Joe with their thoughts, hearts and prayers.

Joe,

As a loud and obnoxious goalie heckler, I just want to say that my wife and I have kept you in mind through this difficult time. In acknowledgement of the fragility of life, we pray that you will become a stronger man and gain a better understanding of sport, life, and all that is truly meaningful in our world and that which transcends. May the faith of those around you, and around our hockey community lift your spirit and aid your fight.

God bless you Joe

I am yet another fan of Joe's in this wonderful hockey community. I, along with several of my teammates will be wearing blue and gold ribbons to the Cornell/RPI playoff game tonight.
Being a fellow senior goalie, I was extremely concerned about you last weekend as I played for the Cornell women at Harvard in my last games of my career. It put everything in perspective for me, and I know you will get through this. Your strength in everything throughout your life will carry you through this!
Keep fighting, and I'm sure you'll be back on the ice in no time!!
God bless you!

Come on buddy, you can pull out of this. Don't you want to shut out BC next year? Okay, you're a senior, but still get well soon.

Many of us at the CC-UAA game last night wore ribbons on your behalf last night Joe, and there was announcement for you before the start of the game. The hockey community is a small one, and a good one. Our thoughts are still with you.

Probably been said but nice to see the support at the Fleet for Joe and having Eileen? since the anthem before BU/BC. Just felt 'right' even above and beyond her being one of the better anthem singers in the league.
