Joe, you are in my prayers. I truely hope you get well and soon.
Just wanted to say thanks for posting the link to the Merrimack board..... there's just been so much going on and it didn't even occur to me to head over there too (but reading through this thread again, plus the most recent article did), so again, thank you.

New article that gives information on Joe's type of injury. Fairly informative.

Here's a virtual ribbon for Joe that my friend Ichiro helped me with.

Please feel free to use this wherever you see fit, with our compliments.
As a return favor to Ichiro, he didn't ask for this, please take a peek at his website: http://www.dejobaan.com/ (http://) where he shows off the games he has written for handhelds and PCs.

I will post that ribbon on my site!! Thanks Go-UML!!
It's amazing how all of us Hockey East fans hate each other and the other teams, and one incident like this can make us refrain from our arguing. We're 1 big Hockey East family :)
As for Joe- Get well soon Joe! All of us, including the competitive team at Kelly's Gymnastics are praying for your recovery!!

Wouldn't it be nice at this weekend's games around the country if we could all, at the start of the game, have a brief moment to send silent thoughts to Joe, and to his family?
Joe, you're not forgotten here in Colorado...I check for updates several times a day hoping for good news.

Just a thought...

I would love to have a moment of Cheer at the FleetCenter this weekend. I think that would be awesome.

I just realized that I had yet to post on this thread.
The college hockey community is one this week. We are all sending our prayers and positive energy in Joe Exter's direction. We want to see you back on the ice Joe. I'm looking forward to the goose-bumps already!
The cheer idea was mine and having experienced it before it is a wonderfully positive message.
USCHO Nation: 100% Joe Exter fans!

The cheer idea is a good one! A unified voice is appropriate around the country.

It would be great to see Hockey East put together a tribute video to Joe Exter. For those who weren't privledged to see many of his games, you'll be able to see some saves that you never thought possible... :)

Get well, Joe, it's hard to enjoy the rest of the season without you.

No kidding! Except for that first game at the Tsongas, he was exceptional vs the Riverhawks...

The 38 save game he had against Union was supposedly a great one too.

I think just about every fan of a team that played Exter's Warriors can think of a game that could be shown.

He was pretty much fantastic both times I saw him -- at 'Mack in February and in Matthews two weeks ago.
We only scored on a two-man in the first, and the second was just a great goalie battle ... no scoring until the third period, a Merrimack goal and then four NUs in the last six minutes (two ENGs, to be fair to Joe).
