Does Title IX have the same effect for programs moving from club status to sanctioned d3 and d2 in comparison for club teams moving into d1 sanctioned?.........Please reply!!!!

Title IX is probably a major factor in club teams not trying to make the transition to varsity status. Just my conspiracy theory.

I understand your reply but does Title IX work within its definition for club teams going d3 sanctioned as club teams going to D1 sanctioned......does the title's defintion pertain to all sanction levels of the Ncaa?

Title IX works with any school with an athletic program. If they bring on a men's hockey team they will need to bring on a corresponding women's team.

Not necessarily... they just have to keep a well proportioned number of opportunities based on the make up of the student body.
