Chris' wife Jennifer died this morning. She had been fighting cancer for quite a while.

Pray for Chris and the rest of the family. I believe they were married for about a month when the cancer was detected. So sad......

As a Maine fan, I hope the University does something for the family.

I too send my condolences. A sad ending to a young woman's life. I have always been facsinated at the closeness of Chris and Peter even as adults. What a blessing they have remained the best friends that they are to each other.

once again, cancer strikes the maine hockey family. i know from seeing them interviewed on tv how greatly shawn's death affected both chris and peter, and this latest event must be unbearable. all my sympathy goes out to them.

My heartfelt respects to the Ferraro family and to Jennifer's family. No one's ever "old enough" to make their passing any less sad, but to see someone fade in what should be the prime of their life is somehow that much worse. :(
