I was wondering if they did recruiting?..also what is the average skill level on that team?........i kno some club hockey programs when they have "try-outs"...they're no cuts in less there is a kid who really doesnt kno the game...but anyone with ok skill will make the team is this that kind of a program?
1 more......how often do they play/practice some club programs 1 a week and a game 1 a week...others are on a more dedicated schedule how does SB hockey work?

They kinda recruit but they kinda don't. Most of the kids on the roster have come from Midgets, Jr B/C or High School hockey here on Long Island. They practice 2 times a week on average from what I am told and they usually have at least 1 game a weekend. As far as tryouts well they only have so many roster spots so you do have to earn it. They are a top 15 team in D-II for the ACHA and are pretty good. The level of hockey is pretty good. A lot of hard hitting. The coaching isn't what you will see in the NCAA D-III level or higher but it isn't all that bad. Good fun hockey and most of the guys are pretty cool as I have played with/against a lot of them around here. They get a pretty good turn out maybe 50-100 fans at the home games which isn't bad. Anything else just fire away. Go to that website I linked below as it will have some more info such as how to get in contact with the coach. I will say that if you haven't played some higher level of hockey you will find it hard to make it/compete at that level.
