I have kind of wondered why this hasn't happened before. You hear how the Defenses are set up and ready for Biological and Chemical weapons and car bombs, but what was to stop a suicide bomber from taking an airplane and crashing it into something. Well, I guess we found out today.....

ABC is saying that it was a small plane that crashed into the Pentagon. It was more of a glancing blow than a direct hit like in NYC.

50,000 people work in the World Trade Centers and countless numbers work in a two block radius. There is debris in the courtyard between the apartment towers I live in, so I can't imagine what sort of damage occurred in the immediate area.

It is time to rain death on whoever did this and I could care less if we take out their civilians. It is also time to let the Israelis off their leash.

The plane in PA went down 80 miles so of Pittsburg. There are now F 16s flying in NJ!

They are now saying that the plane that hit the Pentagon has breached the building and made it into the interior courtyard.

Now they are saying there was no car bomb at the State Department.

One aircraft somewhere in the US is unaccounted for right now.

I agree with you completely. If anything can really unite a country, its when something bad happens to it or when its attacked. Those terrorists are underestimating the resolve of this country. If they think we are going to cower in fear because of their punk tactics, they are in for a rude awakening. They are going to feel the might that this country can wield.

Reportedly another hijacked plane headed for the Pentagon, accompanied by a report that the anti-aircraft defense was down when the first (small) plane hit it. Best guess on my part is that if this plane gets too close it'll get splashed.
