Unlike Iraq if this is indeed them this could turn into a true World War.Can't see it going that far, although I'd certainly be inclined to classify it as an act of war if supported by any state. The Palestinians would be idiots to be involved, it would pretty much kill any chance of having the U.S. on their side in the middle east, which they aren't exactly right now but they aren't exactly on Isreal's side either.

I can see all of this from my apartment. It is chaos. I got home this past weekend and am due to leave to return to London next week. It is absolute chaos. There are National Guard, cops, and firemen all over the streets. There is a huge smoldering smoke cloud where the towers once stood. I live about a mile or so from the towers. I never thought that this could happen here. This is absolutely terrifying.

There are about 3 or 4 huge law firms in the Towers as well as two or three huge investment companies. I have about a dozen friends that worked there. Please say a prayer for them.

A military helicopter was seen buzzing over the Pentagon just before the explosion. It may have been attempting to shoot down the plane.
