I am at a workplace where we have no TVs. I'm sure all of you know the news sites are down, so this is my only source of info at this point.

Please post your source when adding reports. Is is second-hand? Did somebody call you? What network are you watching? Did the network attribute your info to an unconfirmed report, confirmed information or, ack, live footage?

Sears Tower is evacuated according to WGN, but no news of any trouble yet.

Although I don't want to see a full scale war .... I want my kids to be alive for their future. I really agree that the US Government better not just slap the perpretrators on the wrist.

When the WTC collapsed I thought I heard 6-10 blocks around the area were affected.

From ABC TV that I am watching right now.

A car bomb has exploded outside the State Department in Washington.

The remaining world trade tower is leaning and they are fearing it will collapse also.

The two planes were hijacked. Both American Airlines flights. THe first one was from Boston had 90 people and the second one from Dulles in Washington had 60 people.

The second tower just collapsed...

Peter Jenning has said a car bomb at the State Dept in Washington as gone off.

Also rumored to be other hi jacked plane in the air, they are lead to believe.

Just saw the second tower go down.. What a sad day...

Has anyone else heard that this was claimed by a Palanstian group? On another sports site which is about the only news source I can access right now this was stated. Unlike Iraq if this is indeed them this could turn into a true World War.
