Scott- Amen. We need to send a message and I'm not sure I ever thought I'd say this but, we could learn a lot from the Russians. NO MERCY!

Fox 25 jus treported that it was not Mark Bavis, but rather Ace Bailey. Bailey was listed on the LA Kings staff page, but Bavis wasn't. Either way, it is a sad day for hockey, and an even sadder day for the nation. My heart is with everyone who has family and friends involved in the attack.

as you said sad either way...but it seems jenna had known about bavis for awhile now? i have no idea

I just want to say i am sorry for the families who have lost loved ones. This will not slow us down, no matter how hard terrorist try. All terorist should pay dearly for this. This is beyond politics. This is an attack on our way of life and i will not stand by. Go get them Mr President. Just get them good.

Just a observation. WHY DO REPORTERS! TRY AND MAKE UP STORIES AND TELL US LIES? LIKE THE GOV'T IS SHUT DOWN. IN AN EFFORT TO GET AN EDGE, THEY SHOW US HOW UNINFORMED THEY ARE. Just sit down and report what you know.

I remember Ace Bailey as a player with the Bruins in the 70s. Had a chance to meet him 2 years ago...he's a Kings scout...when I was waiting for Dave Taylor, The Kings GM who I know well.

Ace was a great guy, was very nice to me...we had a great conversation.

He will be missed...we should pray for him and his family.

this is just nuts...growing up in washington my hockey team played in and around new york city and long island at least once a month...i remember always seeing those huge towers...its gonna be different driving thru NY now to say the least. i cant imagine how different its going to be for the people more directly affected by this even, and not from an aesthetic stand point

It's sad that those Palestinians are so ignorant. If they think we're their enemy now, what will they think if we turn Israel loose on them? I mean, I realize we're not exactly their friends, but we're not exactly their enemies either and they will profit not at all from this action.

these people walk around with machine guns and say we are the terrorists....i never considered myself intolerant or racist if you will....but if this is how these people in the middle east really feel, and this is how ignorant they really are...then i may have to reconsider.

NBC is reporting that the intelligence community is picking up information, probably from electronic means, that Bin Laden was linked to this crime. Well, duh.

I wouldn't worry about NY Cow, they'll probably just build something bigger and better to "flip the bird" to the ******** who did this. Typical NY attitude. :) :(

I'm drained ... gave blood and this has tapped me to no end.

I've only visited the city and state, and that's my opinion as well. Rebuild it... don't let them win... heck, if they want to open donations, I'd be happy to donate to it (alongside an equally generous check to an appropriate charitable organization).

Personally I do hope NYC builds a new set of towers that are bigger and stronger. Show the world we will perserve and thrive despite these *****heads. The Oklahoma City Memorial is nice, but they need to start rebuilding the WTC ASAP, if only for morale reasons.

Not sure how many Milwaukeeans are reading this, but we received this email from HR:

The Blood Center has informed us that they are mobilizing all of their resources in one location to facilitate a mass community blood collection drive. This is the best way to accommodate everyone and get as much blood to New York as possible. Therefore, our blood drives scheduled for Sept. 12 and Sept. 13 have been canceled.

The community blood collection location is:

The Waukesha County Expo.
Waukesha, WI
Time: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
No appointments.

Directions:
I 94 west to county Hwy. J
Exit south
Proceed south 1 mile to Northview Road.
Rt. on Northview
Enter Gate "1"

You may want to re-think Part 2. You start messing with that s_hit and you can kiss the world goodbye.
