all right ... the tentative bu women's club schedule is out!!!!!!!! no times yet, but most games are probably in the afternoon. *

OCTOBER:
20 - vs. conn polar pears
26 - @ umass-amherst

NOVEMBER:
2 - @ u of buffalo
3 - @ u of buffalo
10 - @ uri
13 - vs. harvard jv
16 - vs. umass-amherst
17 - vs. u of buffalo

DECEMBER:
3 - @ harvard jv
7 - @ wesleyan
11 - @ umass-boston

JANUARY:
19 - vs. bates
25 - vs. uri
26 - @ bates

FEBRUARY:
1 - vs. rutgers
4 - beanpot @ harvard
11 - beanpot @ harvard
22 - vs. mt. holyoke

game 1:
connecticut polar bears - 7
bu - 1

owwwwww.

first game, kinks to be worked out ... played well in first and third periods, but not so much in the second (6 of the 7 goals in the 2nd period). WE WILL GET BETTER!!!! :)

next game:
saturday, october 26 @ umass-amherst - 6pm.

Oh man my practice was terrible (not for the team just me) I have never ridden such a crazy naseau rollar coaster ride in my life......I cant count how many times I was going to yak. Monday is usually the day we get skated hard, but today was also my first full out pratice in a week cause of the flu.....woooooo.

I need to get to dry land tommorow, but stupid work....they owe me a ton so I guess I will see what I can do.

Quiz what did umass look like last year when you played them?

last year? ummmm ... they weren't that great, but they weren't bad, either (that is, not bad enough for me to play in that game). i'm pretty sure we won those games, but they were kinda early in the year, so i don't completely remember ...

It is too bad that I have no reason or money to come east. It would be great fun to watch winger and Quiz play!

Well the last time I played for umass wa a couple of years ago, when the team was pretty good. But then they became disorganised, the girls whinned all the time, about the early practices and about how we didnt win games, but we didnt win games because no one came to practice.
And well the list goes on.

The team now is awesome, Im not even talking about the general skill level. The coaches are great, the run great practices. The team is still open to girls of all skill levels, so people just looking to start playing the game can.
I actually just started playing hockey at 22 (the first time around playing for umass) I have skated since I could walk. I stopped playing for the team, but working at the rink I still got the opportunity to take advantage of open ice, and I could skate then. So I have very limited actaully organized playing expereince.

Over course this year I am playing on two teams, with umass again, and with a team in the sswhl.........and it is great fun.
And once I pass my ref test, I will get myself a set of stripes too!

Uh Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh! If I was still able to skate(can't bc my foot was broken real bad in an accident), I wouldn't wanna have you as a ref;) . Kidding winger......LOL. Did you know Jenna Nolan? She used to play for UMass.

yeah that was the last time I played was with her.

she is in californa last time I saw her....she still has my softball glove and clets hostage!
